We are incredibly proud to share a special milestone for Ice Age Beauty — we have been named a Finalist in the HKABA NSW Chapter 2026 Business Awards.
For us, this recognition is about much more than an award. It is a moment to look back at how far Ice Age Beauty has come since opening in Sydney in March 2025, and to thank everyone who has supported us along the way.
From starting with just two core treatments to developing a growing range of Japanese and Korean inspired beauty and wellness services, every step has been shaped by learning, listening to our clients and staying true to what we believe beauty should feel like.
Starting Again in Sydney
Building Ice Age Beauty in Australia has been a journey of starting again, learning a new market and understanding what local clients truly want from their beauty and self-care experience.
From the beginning, we never wanted Ice Age Beauty to be simply another beauty salon.
We were inspired by the attention to detail, hands-on techniques and sense of relaxation found in Japanese beauty and wellness, together with the innovation and advanced skincare concepts behind Korean beauty.
This became the foundation of Ice Age Beauty — bringing together Japanese beauty techniques, Korean beauty innovation and personalised Australian client care to create a different kind of beauty and wellness experience in Sydney.

From 2 Services to 11+ Beauty & Wellness Services
Ice Age Beauty began in March 2025 with Japanese Kogao and DEP Facial treatments.
As we listened to our clients and continued our professional development, our treatment menu gradually expanded to include Japanese Head Spa, Aqua Peel, Lash Lift, HIFU, Lash Extensions, Nail Services, Makeup, Colour Analysis and other Japanese and Korean inspired beauty treatments.
Within our first year, Ice Age Beauty grew from just 2 services to more than 11 beauty and wellness services.
We have also continued learning through professional training and industry connections in Japan and Korea, exploring new techniques, products and beauty concepts that may benefit our Australian clients.
Our goal has never been to become the biggest beauty salon.
We want to build a beauty brand with its own philosophy — one that feels warm, trustworthy, personal and genuinely cares about the client experience.
The Most Important Achievement Is Our Clients’ Trust
While business growth is exciting, the most meaningful part of our journey has always been seeing clients return.
Some first visit us for a Japanese Head Spa in Sydney because they simply need time to relax. Others discover us while looking for Japanese face sculpting, facial hydration, HIFU or Korean beauty treatments in Sydney.
Over time, many return for different treatments, bring their friends or family, recommend Ice Age Beauty to others, and leave us thoughtful reviews.
That trust means more to us than any number.
Being recognised as a HKABA NSW Chapter 2026 Business Awards Finalist therefore feels like something we share with every client, friend, supporter and partner who has been part of the Ice Age Beauty journey.

A Small Milestone and a New Beginning
Becoming a Finalist is a wonderful encouragement, but we see it as another step rather than the finish line.
It reminds us that every training session, every new idea, every client conversation and every small improvement can eventually become part of something much bigger.
Looking ahead, we hope to continue bringing carefully selected Japanese and Korean beauty treatments to Sydney, while further developing our Japanese Kogao, Head Spa, facial, HIFU and beauty services.
We also hope to grow beyond treatments through beauty education, workshops and knowledge sharing, allowing more people to experience and understand the Japanese and Korean approach to beauty, wellness and self-care.
